monthly business meeting. Lion Secretary Ken
Stallings read the minutes of the November 15 Board
Meeting and Lion Treasurer Tommy White gave the
financial report which stated a bank balance of
$6,271.22 with $1,533.44 in the Activity Fund and
$4,737.78 in the Operating Fund.
This is the final
week to get the items needed for our Auction on
December 8, Sudden
Link, Channel 26. As of Tuesday, we only had about
50 items on hand and we need about 125 items to have
a good auction. We are also taking orders for Boston
Butts for $25, which weigh 7-8 lbs. Sponsorships are
also needed and sell for $100 per board or $500 for
all day. Workers will be needed Saturday from about
9:00 AM until about 4:30 PM.
Lions Bill Dickens
and Ken Stallings co-chairmen of our Pecan Sale
Project states that pecan sales are going great and
we still have plenty of nuts to sell. We now have
Mixed Nuts to sell for $7.50 per package or $22.00
for 3 packages.
December 4, is our evening meeting at 6:00 PM at
Western Sizzlin. This will also be our Christmas
Party with wives and guests. Bring a nice gift not
to exceed $10.00 to exchange. Also bring several
food items for the Food Bank. For this meeting we
will go through the line and order what we want and
then pay as we leave. This meeting will be the last
time our server, Eva, will be with us. Letís put
together a gift for her service to our club through
Friday, December 7,
is a flag day for Pearl Harbor Day. Weather
permitting we will fly the flags.

Day will be February 22 and 23.
